Cold pizza has a time and a place. The time is the morning, after a long night, when congealed cheese over darkened tomato sauce looks like nirvana and tastes even better. The place is somewhere private, where you can enjoy your cold pizza in a judgment-free zone.

Some moments, however, require reheating of the pizza. If the pie cooled down too much during delivery or if you just want to feel like a real adult when you pull leftovers out of the fridge after work, warming up the pie is advisable.

Back away from the microwave.
Don't waste your time with the oven.
The best way to reheat your pizza is in a pan on the stove.

The microwave turns the crust soggy, and the oven takes a long time to heat up. The stove offers the quickest solution for a guaranteed crispy crust and melty cheese.

Simply place a slice or two in a skillet, cover it with a lid and turn the heat up to medium high. In about six minutes, your slices will be just like new. If you like a particularly charred crust, crank the heat up even more.

The only potential snare in this plan is that it's difficult to heat up many slices at once. But where there's a will, there's a way. You've got four burners on your stove, right?
